What information do we get?

We collect personal data that you voluntarily provide to us when you contact us by phone, email, WhatsApp or Telegram, or send a request from the website.

The request form on the website does not store data or send it to a server by itself: it prepares a message that you send to us yourself via WhatsApp or your email program. The message contains only what you enter in the form: your name, phone number (optional), the type and condition of the container you need, whether delivery is needed and the delivery address, and a comment. Messages sent via WhatsApp or Telegram pass through the servers of these services in accordance with their privacy policies.

How do we use the personal data we collect?

We may use the personal data collected to

provide you with the products, services and information you have requested,
process your orders and prepare the necessary documents,
provide you with effective customer support,
send you information messages if you have explicitly consented to receive them,
comply with regulatory requirements.

We process request and order data to prepare an offer at your request and to conclude or perform a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), accounting and other documents to comply with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR), and we send information messages only with your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

The 4WARD SIA website containers.4ward.lv does not use cookies itself — neither analytics nor advertising ones. Visitor statistics are collected without them (see “Visitor statistics” below).

Some articles contain embedded YouTube videos. On pages with such videos, Google may use its own cookies in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

What is a cookie?

Visitor statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics)

To understand which pages are visited and to improve the website, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics (Cloudflare, Inc.). It does not use cookies or store any information on your device, does not build visitor profiles and does not track you across other websites. We only see aggregated statistics: the pages visited, the website the visitor came from, the country, the browser, operating system and device type, and page load speed.

The data is processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in improving the website). If you do not want your visit to be counted, you can use a content blocker in your browser to block the script from static.cloudflareinsights.com.

Cloudflare

CloudFlare is used as a web firewall and CDN (content delivery network) to ensure the security of our websites and optimise load times. All requests are therefore forcibly routed through their server and aggregated into statistics that cannot be deactivated.

The data is processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

access your personal data and receive a copy of it,
have inaccurate data corrected,
request erasure of your data,
restrict the processing of your data,
receive the data you have provided to us in a structured, machine-readable format or have it transmitted to another controller,
object to processing based on our legitimate interests,
withdraw your consent at any time where processing is based on consent; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.
